Trogir

Trogir is a charming medieval town located on the central Adriatic coast of Croatia, famous for its  city center which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997 due to its many historical landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, Duke’s palace, city gates and the Kamerlengo fortress, which is also why the city is often described as an “outdoor museum”.  Trogir is located on a small island between the island of Čiovo and mainland, connected on both sides with bridges. The city is conveniently situated in the proximity of Split airport (3 km), which makes it easily reachable and thus a perfect holiday destination. The town is also a great starting point for visiting and exploring other cities such as Split (30 km), Šibenik (48 km), Zadar (130 km) and Dubrovnik (245 km) but also national parks and other natural landmarks in central Dalmatia. Trogir is connected to all major European cities by its well organized infrastructure of air, road and maritime companies. The nearby city of Split, the second largest city in Croatia, is just half an hour of driving away and offers many musical and cultural manifestations, as well as its most prominent sight – the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian, around which the city was built. Trogir is an ideal choice for those who enjoy sailing due to well equipped marinas such as Aci Marina Trogir, Marina Trogir and Marina Baotić in Seget Donji.
